OKC RIVERSPORT INTEGRIS Jim Thorpe Adaptive Recreational Kayaking

Join us on the water and experience the thrill of kayaking on the Oklahoma River! This free program introduces adults ages 18+ with physical and visual disabilities (and their caregivers) to the sport of canoe/kayak. No experience is necessary; we’ll show you everything you need to know and provide all equipment to ensure you have a safe, fun time on the water.

Recreational kayaks can be outfitted to meet individual needs with pontoons available to provide extra stability when needed. Paddle adaptations are also available for those with grip limitations, and trunk support is available for those with limited mobility.

Paddlers will meet at RIVERSPORT Rapids before heading out on the water. All practices require pre-registration. For more information please contact Aasim Saleh at asaleh@okcbf.org. Interested in a private lesson? Fill out the form below and we will contact you.

Adaptive Kayaking Private Lessons will resume in Spring 2017.
