Kayak & SUP
It’s time to get on the water! Your RIVERSPORT Adventure pass includes both kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. Ages 8+ can paddle solo, while ages 5+ can get on the water in a tandem kayak or SUP with an adult. Kayaks and SUPs can also be rented by the hour ($15).
Kayaking is a fun, easy way to get on the water. Recreational kayaks are wide, stable boats that are easy to paddle and a fun experience for both experienced and novice paddlers. If you’re new to the sport, our staff can give you basic instruction at the dock or you can take a Discover Kayaking lesson to get you started. We provide everything you’ll need – kayaks, paddles and lifejackets (PFDs) – for your one-hour experience.
Stand up paddle boarding is one of the fastest growing sports in the country and is another fun way to get on the water. Standing on a wide “surf” board, you’ll use a long, angled paddle to leisurely move through the water, or pick up the pace and race your friends. Paddle boarding is a full body workout that can be as challenging – or as easy – as you make it. Ready for another unique experience? We also offer SUP Yoga classes (extra fee; not included in pass). As with kayaking, we provide everything you need for this one-hour experience, and all participants are required to wear a PFD.
