Paddle for the Cure
Paddle for the Cure is a friendly dragon boat competition benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure Central and Western Oklahoma Affiliate. In 2015, Paddle for the Cure was held during the OGE NightSprints at the Oklahoma Regatta Festival.
The competition features teams of 20 paddlers and one drummer racing down the Oklahoma River. Each team receives a 60-minute practice session before racing under the lights at the OGE NightSprints. Teams are encouraged to register early to guarantee availability of their practice session.
Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers. Cost is $650 per 20-person team.
Registration for the 2016 Paddle for the Cure will open closer to the event.
