OKC Boathouse Foundation Rowing Logbook

All OKC RIVERSPORT Members are asked to sign in and out at the Chesapeake Boathouse front desk if they intend to go on the water without safety launch supervision, or outside of their regularly schedule practices. This will allow the OKC Boathouse Foundation to monitor safety on the river. If you have any questions, please contact us online or call us at (405) 552-4040.

Safety Notes

Avoid lane 0 throughout the whole 2k course (south shore). Due to lateral lines and fishing activities, this lane is unavailable year round. Please use caution when rowing or paddling in this area.

Today’s Traffic Pattern Counter-Clockwise

All shells will launch with the bows facing the train bridge (west) and will follow a counter-clockwise pattern. Faster crews travel along the shoreline; slower crews travel in the center of the river. Slower boats move to the center of the river (without crossing the center line) when being passed by a faster boat. Please yield to oncoming crews when crossing the river or entering a traffic lane.
